i’m Chris.

Whether you are here because you have known me for years or you heard about me somewhere or from someone, or you are just curious about who I am, I thank you for coming. your presence matters to me.

My first book, Your Next Right Steps, took me months to type but years to write. What I mean by that is that every example and experience I highlight in the book comes from my years of experience. This book has been writing itself for years and I have heard many times from friends and even Acquaintances who have known parts of my story, “Man! you should write a book!” Finally, a few months ago, I decided it was the right time.

There have been numerous “chapters” in my life in which the titles would have been "Almost”. during those times, It seemed as though the summit of a destination I had envisioned was well within my reach, only to have the proverbial ground beneath me given way and I would fall to the ground below no closer to the destination than I was when I started. time and time again, I would get up and keep climbing, trudging, pushing toward the destination only to be met with the same result. I felt exhausted, defeated and, at times, forsaken. I would pound my fists and cry out, “why me? why now?”

It was at my lowest point when I decided to truly take a step back and acknowledge a harsh reality— where I had arrived was directly linked to either the right steps in the wrong direction or to being so focused on the destination that I paid no attention to the steps. it wasn’t until I accepted that reality that everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, changed. Through prayer and focus on the movement toward the destination, I was able to take the next right steps at the right time. My prayer and goal is help you take Your Next Right Steps to become to whomever and whatever you were created to be.
